Rabbi Markus Lange MA is the Resident Chaplain at the Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead, and a member of staff at the Council of Christians and Jews.  Born and raised in Germany, Markus has lived and studied at universities in Bochum, Prague and Berlin. For his rabbinical and clinical-pastoral training, he has studied at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, King's College London and Leo Baeck College, where he received his ordination in 2010. His main interests include rabbinic commentary and Midrash, healthcare chaplaincy, interfaith dialogue and music. Markus teaches on a wide range of subjects, including Bible, prayer and liturgy, pastoral and spritual care, theology and interfaith relations.
